American Liz and I dived the Yongala last Wednesday the 4th but I've just received the photos from her.  Here you go, enjoy:

This is what the Yongala looked like on the surface of the water

We had to travel 2 1/2 hours by boat to get to the site that the Yongala sank.  It was not a pleasant trip.  One guy vomited the whole way while the rest of us turned a little green.

This is how the boat sank, on its side.

And this is all the marine life we saw:

This first photo shows the 'flicker fish' - they are in Nemo - when you come near them they all move in the same direction and their scales flicker in the water.  They are really cool to tease.

Mr. Green Turtle.  We actually saw a bunch of these guys but we didn't get the greatest photos so these have been stolen from the internet.  You get the idea.

This is a Queensland Grouper.  They are absolutely massive.

Spotted Eagle Ray.  This thing was really big as well.

That animal is me!  As you can see by the bubbles I'm exhaling.

Sea snakes there were a plenty.

This is the ship.  I don't know what the part is called but I think its the smoke stack.  No seaman terminology here.

This is near the front of the ship.  The ship has been covered in coral so its hard to tell its a ship anymore.  We saw the porcelain toliets and they were still bright white.  Weird.
