It's already September, hard to believe. This is my favourite time of year in Canada so it's bittersweet with the weather warming up so rapidly here in Townsville. September is good for the hot days and cool nights.... soon will be halloween and the dreaded chill of the Canadian winter.
Canadians, suck in as much of that sunshine as you can because before you know it the land will be the barren, white wasteland.

PS - I'm going ice skating on Thursday. Apparently Queenslanders have a soft spot for the cold like we do. It should be interesting to see how I do on skates, especially as I can't remember the last time I went skating. Also, I don't really have the proper attire, like gloves!!! No sense looking for them either, I'm sure regular stores do not sell them!! Perhaps gardening gloves would work....???
Don't think we've forgetten just cause you are on the other side of the map!
John and I are heading up to Kims cottage this weekend...we will make sure to have a few drink on your behalf and celebrate big as if you and Jamie were there partying with us.
Only 7 more Canadian days, 6 Australian days until you have crossed the line at which you become closer to 30 then 20.
I had to say it... but in all truth, its not so bad being 26!
