My Mom, as sensitive as she is, has asked for pictures of my knee and the damage I have done in my little tumble. Let me just say that it looks worse in person than a camera flash can capture. There are two scuffs, apparently I skidded on my way down, and what you are seeing in the picture is not my knee cap but a goose egg on my knee cap. Around this goose egg is a rainbow of beautiful colours including, but not limited to, red, yellow, blue and green. If the green and red outlive, or begin to overpower the yellow and blue I promise Mom, I will go see a doctor.
Also, I started my move today. And by started, I mean I have moved a minute amount of items to the above room.
Here's my new issue. As I started the stairway to my new room I was met by MANY creepy crawlers. In their defense it is night-time and I have no right to be invading on their territory, but this does not change the fact that I was heavily creeped out. As some of those 'crawlers' were quicker than I could capture, you are only getting pictures of the two who did not care about my presence.
Although this spider may look small, the light she has build her web around is bigger than my head. I've been told she is part of the 'dangerous and deadly' variety (I don't know if that's true or not) so I duck each time I have to walk under her. She's high up but what if she chose to descend??? Also, an added bonus, she is guarding her eggs right now which means we'll have plenty more of those BIG, HAIRY things crawling around anytime soon.
Last day of school tomorrow - well, at least for the week. Hopefully I'll be able to talk to some of you this weekend - if you've seen me online this week and I've 'ignored' you, don't take it personal. This week has been VERY busy in school and I've ignored everyone.....
xoxo
Take care of that knee girl! Umm and that Wombat was awesome sooo jealous!
