Sooooo, I'm in Brisbane!!

This flight has been hell in a hand basket. We had some issues in Toronto airport with Melissa's visa, or lack-thereof, and then she got a bag search. The flight to Chicago went well (although there was no sleeping) and then we headed on a 13 hour flight to Tokyo. HORRIBLE!
Apryl, why oh why is there always a baby crying on these flights???? Is it a requirment?

Melissa and I got to Tokyo dizzy and partially delerious. Keep in mind that we had to be up at 3 am to be at the Toronto airport. We didn't go to bed until 12:30 pm, got up at 3 am and then had been flying ever since. It was.... there's no word. I'm still a little 'off.' It feels like I'm still on a plane, although I"m sitting in Brisbane typing to you all. Oh, I'm eating a Granny Smith apple - delicious.
As some might know I'm not really an adventurous eater. While in Tokyo there were not much options for a cheese burger and fries kinda girl. I got some Chicken/rice bowl, which cost me $13 AMERICAN! and ate a couple bites. I couldn't do it. The rice was good but because we flew in with Japan airlines I had enough rice to last a lifetime. It didn't take too long before those few bites made me pretty sick.
But now I'm in Brisbane!! The flight here was superb. Before the plane had taken off I was asleep - the darn thing woke me up when it rose into the sky. I slept for about 4 hours, which got rid of my headache. We ate, rice again, and then chilled out taking pictures of the clouds.

Upon landing in Brisbane it was raining; we had to switch to the domestic airport. I'm soaked right now as I type but it's HOT so it's alllll gooooodddd......
I've still got the dizzy spells and walking for long distances in doors messes me up (dont' know why) but when we were outside it was beautiful.

Our flight for Townsville should board in about 20 minutes and my dear travelling partner has gone for an apple so I better go locate her. I will be posting photos as soon as I can, we have some good ones so keep following me!!
