Last night was my goodbye party. It began weeks ago, with some slips of the tongue. I figured it out pretty quick, but went along for the ride. I understand the party is as much about the guests, as the guest of honour; especially when it involves a lot of planning for a surprise.

Jamie sent me on a wild goose chase, which started at 6:45pm and was supposed to end by eight. Unfortunately it did not go as planned, and I didn’t actually arrive home (the party setting) until 9pm.

My parents, the party planners.

I walked through my garage door into a swarm of family. A lot of people. After downing some Tylenol (or something of the like) I headed to the basement; I had been told to go. More people! These were the non-family variety.

Me and my 11 best friends minus Apryl, who was working. She came later!

There was close to 70 people at our house and you could tell - it sure was crowded. But it didn't matter. We had music... thanks, to Connor, Jay and Uncle Rick.

Connor and Jay's rendition of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars." Definitely my favourite!

Jay and Rick did a bunch of hit songs getting the crowd wild!!

And Rick showed his rock-star side going solo on the vocals!

There was a serious game of 'Stella-ella-ola' which left us all in waiting as Breanna, Summer and Shannon fought to the death. Shannon, double the age of her competitors whipped butt!

Manda brought out a speech, and a flood of tears...Amanda, trying to get through her speech!

Which got passed onto Ivana, as well as some of the others.

I, however, kept the tears at bay, but enjoyed the travels down memory lane. Unfortunately some of those stories will never be further explained!!

And like all 'Vincent' family parties you could spot a 'bear' bum!! Andy was definitely the talk of the night. Not only does she have her mommies pretty looks but she's got the sense of humour of her father! An adorable combination. 'Good Night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!'
